Visual art workshops with special exhibition

School students have the chance to respond to the stunning artworks in the Beauty from Nature: art of the Scott Sisters exhibition, opening this week.

This stunning exhibition, open 3 September to 27 November 2011, features more than 60 delicate watercolours, notebooks, handwritten manuscripts and letters, that together form a fascinating record of the lives of Harriet and Helena Scott. Their determination and ambition led them to a remarkable career in scientific illustrations, many of which are still used by scientists today.

From 12 September to 25 November school students have the opportunity to design their own Christmas card, bookmark or gift in educator-led workshops. Find out more details about the exhibition and  student workshops.
