New Aboriginal Dance and Culture Program
An Indigenous Australian Theatre group will perform live.
Bring your students to see Descendance, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Dance Theatre Group. The troupe will perform from 14 to 21 June 2011 in the lead up to NAIDOC Week. Students will learn about Aboriginal dance, songs and stories. Descendance travel around the world promoting Indigenous Australian culture and have won international awards. The sessions are interactive and students have an opportunity to ask questions of the dancers. Suitable for all age groups, students will be stimulated and educated by the performance.
Performances are at 11 am and 1 pm for one hour from 14 to 21 June (excluding weekends) and cost $4.40 per person. To book your education group please phone (02) 9320-6163.
