Wallabies... of the rucking, mauling kind
A couple of walking, talking Wallabies (aka Australian Rugby Union players) visited the Museum...

Kids, rugby fans, Museum visitors and a surprising number of staff members (see above) calmly stood in line today to get an autograph and a photo with a couple of Wallabies.
Nathan Sharpe, the longest serving member of the Australian team and Scott Higginbotham, one of the newest members of the Qantas Wallabies squad, happily spent half an hour signing and posing next to our foyer display celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the famous gold jersey.
The Qantas Wallabies team will take on Samoa this Sunday at ANZ Stadium. Let's hope they're as agile as their namesakes but as fierce as these guys.
The Australian Museum wishes you well, Nathan and Scott!
