Crocodile specimen on the move
See you later alligator, in a while crocodile.
Last week the Australian Museum was a hive of activity. National Science Week had meant the museum was overflowing with science lovers, but most importantly for the Croc Case Project Team it meant the 'croc move' had finally dawned.
When I got up to the space, the scene was buzzing with a number of team members from 'Prep', Archives and Conservation ready (and keen) to move this unique heritage item.
Great care was taken when moving the croc. The crew were very focused and professional, yet created a really enjoyable atmosphere to be around. Take a look at what happened...
