Where have all the Turtles Gone?
Sea Turtle numbers are diminishing but stealing their eggs is a sure way of speeding up the extinction of turtle species.
Our oceans and seas and the marine life that live in them are facing huge issues already and when I read about what is happening to the turtle’s egg in Costa Rica I was left speechless. I find this really difficult to comprehend and felt I needed to share this story.
Below is a link to an article written by Captain Paul Watson from the Sea Shepherd. Captain Watson has not held back and he outlines what is happening, why it is happening and when you see the photos it is absolutely shocking. After you read the article and feel you want to take action you can write the U.S Embassy in Costa Rica. The contact details are on the bottom of the article.
