To determine the needs and wants of young adults in museum visiting for the audience research study "Engaging Young Adults in Museums", a short ten question online survey was created and distributed to young adults aged 18-26 years via social media websites such as Facebook.
A short ten question online survey was created and distributed via social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter and online forums. The sample consisted of 100 young adults aged 18-26 years. The aim of the survey was to better understand what attracts young adults to attend museums, what deters them from attending museums and what new aspects they would like to see incorporated into exhibitions.
