Visiting the Library

Holiday opening hours: The Library will be closed from 24 December 2012 and reopen on Monday 7 January 2013.

The Australian Museum Research Library is open Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.00pm.

Before you visit the Research Library, please phone or email to make an appointment and let us know the nature of your research request. That way, we can advise you on the best way to proceed, and identify the material you wish to use.

If you need to make copies of material for research and reference, we have a photocopier and scanner available at a small charge, or you can bring your own digital camera.

If you wish to use your laptop, we have free wireless internet access available in the Museum.
