ANIMAL SPECIES:South-eastern Broad-nosed Bat
South-eastern Broad-nosed Bats are mostly found in areas east of the Great Dividing Range in tall wet forest or rainforest, but they have also been found in low open forest near Canberra.
Habitat
South-eastern Broad-nosed Bats roost in the hollows in old trees but also occasionally buildings. They have been recorded from tree hollows some 7 metres above the ground.

Feeding and Diet
The diet of South-eastern Broad-nosed Bats is not known.
Conservation Status
South-eastern Broad-nosed Bats are vulnerable to loss of roost sites in tree hollows and loss of feeding grounds by forestry activities, clearing for agriculture and housing.
