Image Gallery: Pufferfishes and Toadfishes
The pufferfishes and toadfishes (family Tetraodontidae) have beak like jaws made up of four pieces (two in both jaws). Some species live in marine waters over 100 m in depth and others occur in freshwaters and estuarines. The majority of species, however, are found in shallow tropical and temperate seas.
