Image Gallery: Damselfishes
Damselfishes are one of the most prominent fishes of coral reefs although many species are also found in temperate marine waters. The family Pomacentridae is the third largest in Australia (141 species) after the Gobiidae (gobies) and Labridae (wrasses). This gallery shows just a few of the 348 species found worldwide.
