Cape York Pipistrelles are very small bats, common along the creek and river systems of Cape York. They are less common in the Top End where they are found mostly near the coast.
Habitat
Cape York Pipistrelles probably roost in trees.
Economic/social impacts
Cape York Pipistrelles are vulnerable to loss of roost sites in tree hollows and loss of feeding grounds by forestry activities, clearing for agriculture.
