Imaginative Science Communication
A very clever way of conveying the day-to-day process of scientific collecting...
From Glenn Ferguson, Exhibitions Manager:
One of our colleagues in science, Dr Buz Wilson, sent me this underground 2007 video circulating on YouTube called “Cruise, Cruise Baby” an adaptation of Vanilla Ice’s original song by a team of US Scientists trawling for plankton; Coastal Ocean Observing Center at the University of New Hampshire. It’s fabulous and I think it it’s an example of the viral pickup you can get out potentially dry subject if you inject the right quota of humour.
