Plastiki heads to Oz

Early this morning our time the Plastiki Expedition left San Francisco on its journey to Sydney.

Well after nearly four years David de Rothschild dream is a reality. His amazing vessel the Plastiki left on its epic journey from the US to Sydney early this morning.

Over the next 100 or so days we can follow the Plastiki and crew to see what exciting challenges the journey will bring them. Remembering though this expedition has a serious message and that is we need to rethink waste as resource. Nearly 50% of plastic’s end up in our Oceans and that just isn’t good for our marine life and the planet.

Good luck to the crew and I hope your adventure is a safe and happy one.

Remember “Habits made today will help life tomorrow."
