Plastiki Update 2
An update on the Plastiki expedition
Team Plastiki had been travelling for 23 days and have travelled 2038 nautical miles this is the length of 424512 plastic bottles.
Each week their website has a ‘word of the week’ where you can contribute your thoughts and ideas about that word. So far the words have been curiosity, food and energy.
The team still seems to be in high spirits and managing their isolation pretty well. The team actually caught a big tuna, seen a whale and some birds!!
I can’t wait for them to reach the Great Pacific Garbage Patch and read what they have to say about it.
Remember “Habits made today will help life tomorrow.”
