Temporary exhibitions

For temporary exhibitions where admission charges apply you will be issued with a ticket. You can usually leave the exhibition and re-enter on the same day provided you show your ticket and the exhibition is not extremely busy.

Photography

Flash and video photography are permitted in all permanent exhibitions and most temporary exhibitions. Please check with an Australian Museum staff member before taking photographs in the Indigenous Australians: Australia's first peoples exhibition.
